Quality Statement

Barnhart Energy Company (BEC) does not desire to be average; we strive for excellence. We will continuously improve and grow to be the best in the business. Craftsmanship is a BEC core value and we apply these values to everything that we do. Craftsmanship is the degree of skill with which a product is made, or a job is done. It refers to the quality of work delivered. Every employee, vendor, and subcontractor of BEC should have the mindset of doing the job, the right way, the first time. With that mindset, we can take pride in each day's work; knowing that we have provided quality service and built a quality product.

Quality Assurance is a functional obligation of everyone: whether employee, subcontractor, or vendor of BEC. The goal of Quality Assurance is to have a desired level of quality in our product by paying special attention to every stage of the construction process. Quality Control on the other hand is a small group of Leaders that maintains standards by observing completed work. Quality is not a department responsibility at BEC, it is an obligation of each employee. We are each responsible and accountable for the work we perform and that of those we lead. Leaders are responsible for the quality of the work and implementation of this plan in their area of assigned responsibility.

All personnel have the authority and responsibility to identify quality problems, stop work when problems are discovered, report these problems, initiate solutions, and resolve deficiencies. Any quality issue or nonconformance that is not resolved should be elevated to the next level of Project Leadership.
